Rheumaticus is a student research group established in 2024 at the Medical University of Warsaw. We are based at the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation, kindly hosted by the Early Arthritis Clinic.
Usually, we meet twice a month, on Tuesday afternoons, to broaden our knowledge of rheumatology and internal medicine. We conduct intensive research, preparing journal articles and conference presentations.
This year, for the first time, we organise the Navigate Autoimmunity conference, dedicated to issues related to autoimmune diseases.
Our supervisor is Professor Maria Maślińska, MD PhD. We are member of the Student Scientific Society at the Medical University of Warsaw and cooperate closely with the Rheumatology Student Research Group of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University.
